A natural gem of a special kind is the "Schattensee". It impresses with its natural, calm, and above all romantic surroundings in the midst of the Krakau mountain landscape.

The Shadow Lake has a lot to offer: besides water disc shooting and a circular path with a tree calendar, you can swim and fish in this bog lake.

Tip: Dogs are allowed

Fishing is possible from May 31 to October 31, 2026, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., night fishing is not permitted.

The shadow lake is accessible at any time.

- Period: May 31 to October 31 from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Day tickets: 25.00 € | Season ticket: 250.00 €
- Fishing gear: 2 fishing rods/person with a valid license, minimum line strength 0.35 mm monofilament
- Catch/Growth limit per day: 1 carp (scale or mirror carp) up to 5 kg (minimum length
35 cm) and 1 pike starting from 60 cm in length
