Beautiful challenging tour up to the Sölkpass with great panoramic views!

This is a challenging mountain bike tour to the Sölkpass. Since the route is relatively long and steep, a certain level of fitness and endurance is required. Also, it should be noted that the entire mountain bike tour rund on the car driving federal road. It is therefore asked fo attentiveness in traffic.

More information

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive to Murau. In Katsch an der Mur keep right againd and drive along the road to Baierdorf.

Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) keep left towards Schöder. After Schöder turn left and drive the road to Baierdorf.

Cross the road and follow the signs to the side road. Keep right at the bridge, then left after the bridge. Follow the slightly ascending gravel road for about 5 km along the Katschbach stream. There is a beautiful forest road leading up to a wayside cross (Augustinerkreuz). Follow the Sölkpass road further to the "Dorferhütte", then 2 km to the "Kreuzerhütte" and up to the 1788 m high Sölkpass.

Worth seeing: Augistinerbründl healing spring (eye healing spring)
