Magic of Lights on the Mariazell Bürgeralpe
High above Mariazell, the Bürgeralpe transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland. Thousands of lights bathe the mountain in a warm glow, while atmospheric paths wind through the wintry Holzknechtland. At the mountain lake, the lights reflect mysteriously on the water, and at the lookout tower, music and light merge into an impressive show. A mulled wine at the "Arche des Waldes" provides warmth, or you can head to the mountain inn for something to eat – before the cable car takes you back down to the valley, or floodlit night tobogganing rounds off the evening.
