Opening hours
Simply wonderful hiking! Through forests, across alpine pastures, past cows and flowing streams. Hiking through the Gesäuse in the shadow of the mighty mountains is a real joy. Whether the destination is a mountain hut, a summit or simply the path itself is, at first, of little consequence. With a sense of awe, you put one foot in front of the other in your hiking boots and, in doing so, find your way back to yourself.
And as we all know, the way to the heart is through the stomach, so it’s worth taking a quick look at the opening times of our mountain huts and alpine pastures. That way, you’ll know exactly where you can enjoy a cosy break, a warm bowl of soup or a friendly “Griaß di”. Do a bit of planning – and then just set off on your hike.
