6 km long sunny cross-country trail on the high plateau of the Kaiserau at 1,100 m.

In addition to alpine skiing, the Kaiserau also offers the best conditions for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. A spacious and idyllically laid out cross-country skiing trail runs around the castle - for both sporty skiers and sun-seekers.

Classic or skating

Free use of the cross-country ski trails in the Gesäuse for young people under 16 years of age (only with valid ID!).
Cross-country tickets are valid at the Cross-Country Skiing Centre Hall and on the Kaiserau.

Cross-country tickets are available at the Admont Tourist Office (Mon - Fri 09:00 - 15:00) and Confectionery & Café Stockhammer Admont, Kaiserau family ski area, Mühlau cross-country skiing centre.

Via Kaiserau Landesstraße.

The approximately 5 km long route meets the requirements for altitude training. The trail is suitable for beginners to professional athletes who prefer either classic style or skating.
Use of the trail is only permitted during operating hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)!

It is possible to rent all the equipment on site.

Tickets are available at the Kaiserau lift ticket office (daily from 09:00 to 16:00 during operating hours) and at the Admont tourist office.

Please note the new parking fees!

Year regulations: Infants: born 2014 and younger; child: born 2004 to 2013; youth: born 2003, 2002 and 2001; student: born 1994 and younger, only with valid ID!

Parking fee up to 30 minutes free of charge

Parking fee car € 1,00 per hour or part thereof (from 07:00 to 20:00)

Parking fee car € 2,00 per started night hour (from 20:00 to 07:00 o'clock)

Parking fee bus/truck € 5.00 per hour or part thereof (from 07:00 to 20:00)

Parking fee bus/truck € 10,00 per started night hour (from 20:00 to 07:00 o'clock)

If the parking ticket is lost, a loss fee of € 40.00 is to be paid.

FREE OF CHARGE: If you buy a valid ski or cross-country skiing ticket (except "1 day cross-country skiing", "ski lift single trip" and "day ticket infants"), the parking ticket is validated on the day of purchase from 09:00 to 16:00 at the cash desk of Kaiserau Tourismus GmbH and parking is free of charge.
