Start your exploration either at the marketplace of St. Gallen or in the district of Weißenbach at the Enns, near the Eisenwurzen Halle. The Zinkgraben offers you pure nature and invites you to move and relax amidst a beautiful landscape.

On the way through the gorge forest along the Großen Billbach, fascinating nature experiences await you. Newly constructed bridges lead to a small "peninsula" in the stream, which provides the ideal entry point for easy hikes. Geologically interesting conglomerate cliffs and landslides make the Zinkgraben exciting for geology enthusiasts as well. Especially in hot temperatures, the Zinkgraben Day Hike is ideal for cooling off and recharging your energy.

Along your way through the Zinkgraben, numerous boards inform you about the unique flora and fauna of the gorge forest, the role of forests in climate change, and the geological peculiarities of the region. Fun and activity in the St. Gallen activity arena

Three running and walking routes of varying difficulty await to be discovered:

• Gas Station Route (3.1 km) – This asphalted route is ideal for beginners and runs through the city.
• Zinkgraben Route (3.2 km) – A route for experienced runners and walkers that leads along the Großen Billbach through the gorge forest.
• Milky Way Route (10 km) – The perfect route for passionate runners. It leads through the Zinkgraben, up to Weißenbach and continues over the Milky Way back to St. Gallen into the Zinkgraben.
