Taxi Thalhuber

The taxi company Thalhuber has a total of 14 vehicles. Several buses with nine seats each and passenger cars are available, one of which is a minibus with a ramp suitable for transporting individuals with mobility impairments.

Additionally, Taxi Thalhuber operates with a bicycle trailer as part of the shared taxi service and also serves as a boat taxi along the Salza.

As the taxi company Thalhuber, we provide the following patient transport services for the social insurance providers ÖGK, SVS, BVAEB, PVA, AUVA, and KFA:
• Rides to and from general practitioners, specialists, and hospitals
• Rides to follow-up and preventative examinations
• Rides for dialysis, radiation, and chemotherapy
• Rides to and from physiotherapy,
• Additional rides related to medical treatment for which a doctor's transport directive is in place due to the patient's inability to walk The costs for these rides are directly covered by the respective social insurance provider (subject to co-payment) when the following conditions are met:
• The patient is deemed unable to walk according to the statute AND
• A medical transport directive exists.

The company has been in existence since 1976 and was transferred from Helmut Thalhuber to his son Christoph at the end of 2009. The Thalhuber company is significantly involved in maintaining the public transport services in the lower Ennstal and Salzat valleys.
