As it is well known that you never stop learning in mountaineering, Thomas will probably remain a student at this university forever ;-) His passion for the mountains was passed on to him by his parents, even though Thomas only undertook his first climbing tours at the age of 20. He took his first steps on alpine rock in the Gesäuse - a bond that remains to this day, which is why Thomas has climbed countless tours there and knows the area like the back of his hand.
