Put up the tent...
...and leave the car for longer. You can do this at the Forstgarten camping site in the middle of the Gesäuse National Park. There's a wide range of offers all around and many a hut can be hiked directly from the site.
On an area of 10.000 square meters you will surely find the perfect place for your tent, motorhome or caravan. And once you've found your spot, you'll be happy about the all-round facilities, such as the two campfire sites, the campsite shop, the volleyball court or the morning bread roll service.
If you don't like to sleep in your caravan or tent, you can choose between a cosy holiday flat for up to 4 people or 3 camps (2 camps for 12 people each and 1 camp for 16 people).
<p>Conditions</p>
You cannot reserve spots at the campsite in advance. Just park in your favorite spot and register on-site at the campsite office between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

- Coming from Admont approx. 14 km in the direction of Hieflau, the campsite is located directly in front of the Enns bridge in Gstatterboden south of the Enns
- Coming from Hieflau approx. 9 km in the direction of Admont after the Enns bridge turn left
Office hours for registration and de-registration directly at the campsite daily from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m
