New 8-Seater Gondola Lift from the Center in Mariazell
A trip to the Mariazell Bürgeralpe is a great experience for the whole family. Just a few minutes away from the main square of Mariazell is the valley station of the Bürgeralpe Express. From there, you glide on the new 8-seater gondola lift, a modern single-cable circulating lift from Doppelmayr, to 1,267 m. There is enough space in the cabins for strollers or wheelchairs.

Adventure Park Holzknechtland & Beaver Water
Located at the mountain station is the entrance to the adventure park. In Holzknechtland, work processes from forestry in the past are presented at various stations. Children can playfully understand what was once hard breadwinning. With forest quizzes and stamp rallies, the mascot Beaver Basti accompanies this discovery journey. A ride on the forest railway around the forest and crystal lake is an experience for all visitors.

Beaver Water
Discover the play world of our mascot Beaver Basti: three ball tracks, a saw waver, Basti's giant slide, eagle's nest, hillside slide, as well as crawl tunnels and a sand playground provide plenty of fun and action. "Pack your swimsuits" for the fun raft regatta, spritzing beavers, as well as the wild brook and water run with a gold panning basin.

New Attraction - WALD8erBAHN "Flylina's Witch Flight"
On the new WALD8erBAHN, you glide almost silently between the treetops through the Hiking Wonder Forest. Whether in a cozy double with a child or alone in a fast turn flight. The new flying experience extends over 350 meters and is a spectacular but also safe experience for the whole family. At the end of the witch flight, it’s a walk back.

Forest Adventure Trail "The Secret of the White Tower"
The landing site of Flylina's Witch Flight is also the starting point of the 1.3 km long, newly designed family hiking trail. Along the adventure path, the secret of the white tower is revealed at seven playful experience stations with the help of the residents of the Hiking Wonder Forest. The clues to the solution are recorded in the nature treasure map that each child receives during Flylina's Witch Flight.

Round Hiking Trail Three-Lakes View
The stroller-friendly round hiking trail starts at the mountain station. Enjoy the view of the three lakes: Kristallsee, Erlaufsee, and Hubertussee. Hiking time: approx. 45 minutes

Observation Tower
The 21-meter-high Archduke Johann Observation Tower was built from wood in 1855, rebuilt in its current form in 1908, and underwent a major renovation in 2006. A great panoramic view awaits you!

The New Summer Experience with Bow and Arrow
Along a circular route with realistic 3D targets, archery fans of all ages – even without prior knowledge – can try their hand. Depending on your mood and time, the course can be completed with 20 to 32 stations (hiking time: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours). Rental equipment and a short introduction to theory and practice at the practice area can be accessed on-site without prior registration.

New Parking Lot in Mariazell
Just 150 meters from the valley station, a new municipal parking lot for up to 108 cars has been established; this is subject to a fee.
