In the heart of West Styria, the Salzstiegl ski area offers everything for an active winter day: 12 kilometers of slopes on 40 hectares, six drag lifts, and snow reliability. Sporting highlights like mogul runs and jumps make the area particularly diverse.

Right at the valley station, the Schneeschule Klinger offers suitable courses for children and adults. The Skischule Ruderes provides professional private lessons as well. Those who arrive without their own equipment can conveniently rent skis and snowboards on-site.

A 2-kilometer-long, illuminated toboggan run with toboggan taxi ensures fun for tobogganing – or go for a sporty walk. Even those with snowshoes or touring skis can discover quiet winter landscapes and impressive panoramic views here. The alpine guesthouse Moasterhaus, located directly on the slopes, treats visitors to regional cuisine and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a stopover.
