Explore and enjoy the WasserWissensWelt on the Übelbach Water Theme Trail. Easy circular walk for families, school groups and anyone keen to discover water in a new way.

Start at the first panel, cross Hammerherrnstraße and continue straight across the meadow towards the stream. Follow the fence of the dog area westwards and continue along Hammerherrnstraße, always following the red arrows and numbered panels. After panel 9 cross the bridge and walk along the Vinzenzpromenade, or take the forest road under the motorway as an alternative. From panel 11 return on a mix of familiar and new paths to Pastner Teich and back via Hammerherrnstraße to the starting point.

By car via A9, exit Übelbach, then follow L385 to the parking areas.
Gravel parking at Pfarrhof on the main road at Kirchengasse or along Vormarktstraße. Alternatively at Pastner bathing pond, about 5 minutes on foot to the start.

Sturdy footwear with good grip, water, rain and sun protection, swimwear if needed.

Bring swimwear in summer, swimming possible at Pastner Teich. Beach volleyball, playground and football area nearby. Small ice skating area in winter. Dog area near panels 2 and 3.

Train: Take the S1 from Graz to Peggau-Deutschfeistritz, then the S11 towards Übelbach to “Vormarkt”. Start just south of the stop. Check weekend timetable.

Alternatively flux taxi from Peggau-Deutschfeistritz to “Bahnhof Vormarkt” (GU 1809).
