With the summer production “The Lavender Witch”, the Theater Group Kalsdorf (TRUNK) brings a poetic tragedy to the stage in the courtyard and garden in Kalsdorf near Graz. The play by Elfi Greiner tells the story of a mysterious lavender witch and takes the audience to a place where fantasy and reality meet.

The production combines symbolic figures with serious and cheerful moments of life. Poetry, fantasy, and thoughtful themes are just as central as the question of whether the supernatural can be a curse or a blessing. This creates a theater evening that allows for different interpretations and takes the audience on an atmospheric journey.
