Two pianists, one grand piano, and the festive setting of the Stift Rein shape this concert evening of the Styrian Chamber Music Festival. Paul Gulda and Irina Vaterl will create a musical prelude to the Christmas season on December 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the summer refectory of the Stift Rein.
The joint performance of the two musicians is at the center of attention. As a keyboard duo, Paul Gulda and Irina Vaterl combine magnificent music-making with elegance, making the grand piano the focal point of the evening. The summer refectory of the traditional Stift Rein provides a special setting in the Graz region.
Both pianists are connected with the Styrian Chamber Music Festival and regularly perform in various chamber music formations as part of the festival. In Rein, the evening focuses entirely on their joint piano playing and the musical preparation for the Advent season.
