Two pianists, one grand piano, and the festive setting of Stift Rein shape this concert evening of the Styrian Chamber Music Festival. Paul Gulda and Irina Vaterl will create a musical prelude to the Christmas season on December 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the summer refectory of Stift Rein.
The joint performance of the two musicians is the focus here. As a duo, Paul Gulda and Irina Vaterl combine magnificent music-making with elegance and make the grand piano the center of the evening. The summer refectory of the historic Stift Rein provides a special setting in the Graz region.
Both pianists are connected with the Styrian Chamber Music Festival and regularly perform in different chamber music formations as part of the festival. In Rein, the evening focuses entirely on their joint piano performance and the musical introduction to the Advent season.
