Styrian Chamber Music Festival: Aussee Advent

On December 8th, festive folk music will enter the Basilica of Stift Rein with the Ausseer Advent. The Styrian Chamber Music Festival focuses on lived tradition, familiar sounds, and the special atmosphere of the Advent season this afternoon.

The Ausseer Advent represents that musical culture which has been cultivated and passed down in Styria for generations. Folk music and Advent customs combine to create a festive program that captures the reflective side of the pre-Christmas season while also making the vibrancy of regional traditions palpable.

The Basilica of Stift Rein provides a particularly atmospheric setting for this.
