Sculpture Park: Ask and you shall receive!
Children's voices lead through art and nature in the Austrian Sculpture Park in Premstätten.
Free entry!
In the Austrian Sculpture Park in Premstätten, a special view of art and nature emerges. On May 29, young people from MS Premstätten will present an audio guide created by children for children. The event begins at 3:00 p.m., and entry is free.
Since June 2025, the art and nature education of the Austrian Sculpture Park has been working together with a class from MS Premstätten on this project. Under the motto “Who asks, hears more,” the young people engage with the sculptures, paths, and natural spaces in the park. This process generates questions and thoughts that are often quite different from those of adults.
The students develop their own texts and record them themselves. This results in an audio guide that makes art understandable and simultaneously gives voice to personal impressions. Among large sculptures, meadows, and paths, a new access to the park opens up – directly from the perspective of young visitors.
The Austrian Sculpture Park in Styria combines contemporary art with nature and invites exploration. The project demonstrates how attentively children perceive their surroundings and what exciting stories can develop between works of art and landscapes. A varied afternoon for families, school classes, and everyone who wants to experience art from a different perspective.
The sculpture park is accessible by public transport.
