Reinighaus Neighbourhood Festival

The Reininghaus District Festival brings people together on July 3, 2026 and showcases how vibrant one of Graz's youngest districts has developed. Between Reininghauspark, Tennenmälzerei, and the new neighborhoods, a varied day for all generations unfolds. The program combines culture, community, movement, and insights into urban development, making visible what life together in urban spaces means.

Even in the morning, a musical kickoff creates a special atmosphere. Art and culture accompany the festival in many locations throughout the district. The installation “GINA LIEBT!” by Graz artist Nicole Pruckermayr sets a striking accent at the Tennenmälzerei. In the Mirror, the exhibition “Ecological Experimentation” invites exploration and participation. With the interactive audio walk “shifting common grounds,” TaO! opens new perspectives on Reininghaus and its stories.

Movement and collaborative activities are also at the forefront. Workshops, play and sports offerings, and dance invite participation. Those wanting to get to know the district better can gain insights into current projects and upcoming developments during construction site visits. Information on sustainable mobility complements the program.
