ORF Steiermark ‘Klangwolke’ at the Graz Puntigam parish

The Parish Graz-Puntigam participates in the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke on Friday, July 17, 2026, and invites you to a free public viewing in the parish hall. Together, the transmission of the Styriarte concert from the Helmut List Hall will be followed and the concert evening experienced in a sociable atmosphere.
At the center of the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke 2026 is Gustav Mahler's monumental Symphony No. 2 c minor "Resurrection". The performance will be shaped by conductor Mei-Ann Chen together with the Styriarte Youth Orchestra. Featured soloists are Miriam Kutrowatz (soprano) and Maria Hegele (mezzo-soprano). The ensemble is complemented by chor pro musica graz and mondo musicale.
For the 19th time, the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke transforms the entire Styria region into a large concert hall. Numerous communities, parishes, and venues participate with public viewings or radio broadcasts, making classical music experienceable in special places. The Parish Graz-Puntigam is also part of this statewide cultural initiative, offering the opportunity to enjoy the concert together outside the concert hall.
The public viewing starts at 8:15 p.m., the concert transmission begins at 9:00 p.m. on ORF III and Radio Steiermark. Admission is free.
