The impulse day “Holiday for Mother Earth” is dedicated to the conscious handling of nature, gardens, and natural cycles. Visitors at the Painer nursery in Eggersdorf near Graz can expect an afternoon and evening with various program points centered around plant knowledge, exchange, and community activities.
The program includes much that is informative and interesting:
- 3:00 p.m. with “Enjoying Herbs with All Senses”
- 4:00 p.m. a winter vegetable exchange in conjunction with EMactive
- 5:00 p.m. a tree planting is on the agenda
- 6:00 p.m. a barbecue by the campfire with a colorful buffet will take place
- at 8:00 p.m. an Agnihotra demonstration will be offered, before the Agnihotra ceremony is conducted at 8:36 p.m.
The event combines practical gardening and nature themes with communal exchange and traditional elements. The various program points provide insights into herbs, vegetable cultivation, and ecological connections, as well as an opportunity to spend time in the garden environment.
Eggersdorf is accessible by public transport.
