Light and sound art in the Graz experience region – celebrate 11 years of KLANGLICHT in October!
At the end of October, Eggenberg Castle will shine in a magical daze of light and sound.
KLANGLICHT returns in 2026 to one of the most significant historical places in Austria: Eggenberg Castle. The baroque total work of art on the western edge of Graz is characterized by the encounter of history, nature, and quiet splendor, creating a unique resonance space for contemporary artistic interventions with light, sound, and space.
From October 23 to November 7, 2026, artistic works will be exhibited that stretch or fragment time, make historical rhythms audible, unveil hidden narratives, or speculate on future scenarios. Past, present, and future are not understood as a linear sequence, but as simultaneously effective layers.
