Off to the treasure hunt in the Leechwald! Together with specially trained truffle dogs, we go in search of hidden treasures in the forest floor. We meet in front of the Waldschule Graz and go on an exciting and informative truffle hunt during a leisurely walk through the forest. Afterwards you can savour a dish with the truffles you have found.

In the city forests of Graz, various types of underground-growing truffle fungi are found by the keen noses of dogs. Not only sought-after gourmet truffles but also inedible truffles are a testament to the biodiversity in ecologically managed forest stocks.

Arrival by car: There is no direct access to Waldschule Graz. Paid parking spaces are available in the surrounding streets.

If participating with dogs, the success of the truffle search cannot be guaranteed due to significant distractions. We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are unfortunately not allowed on the hike. Please note that participation by minors is only intended with the simultaneous attendance of a guardian.
