Guided tour: Visiting the sculpture park with a baby

Baby in the Museum makes culture easily accessible in Premstätten. On June 18, 2026, the program will take you through the Austrian Sculpture Park, just a few kilometers south of Graz. Amidst meadows, paths, and contemporary sculptures, there is enough tranquility for strollers, baby carriers, and little breaks.

The tour is aimed at moms, dads, and all individuals caring for a baby aged 0 to 18 months. The focus is on art, exchange, and a relaxed museum visit. If a baby babbles, cries, or wants to crawl, that's just part of it. This format is specifically designed for that.

The meeting point is the entrance of the Austrian Sculpture Park in Premstätten. The tour lasts about 50 to 60 minutes. Seating and breastfeeding options as well as retreat areas are provided. Changing facilities are available at the Universalmuseum Joanneum. The visit is easily possible with a stroller or baby carrier.

The Sculpture Park is a special place in the Graz experience region. Art here is not static in a space, but right in the greenery. Works by artists from Austria and beyond meet garden architecture, ponds, and open paths. This creates a peaceful setting for culture with a baby, close to Graz yet entirely outdoors.
