An urban festival for all senses in the heart of Gries.
On July 4, 2026, the Griesviertel in Graz will transform into a meeting point for art, culture, and culinary delights. Under the motto "No Foodtrucks allowed – Simple Urban Streetfood," the community project Grieskoch invites you to a delightful summer day featuring international food and live music with free entry.
Various small-scale caterers and associations from Gries will cook fresh on-site and ensure a culinary diversity: Look forward to Syrian cuisine, Afghan street food, Ghanaian specialties, vegan curry dishes, pizza, and fair cocktails by Parks Art. A beverage stand will also be available.
The day will be musically accompanied by local musicians from the Styrian contemporary pop culture, who will mainly present their original compositions – from pop to singer/songwriter.
