Girlpower | free tour
We showcase powerful girl power from the Neolithic period to today. From the first "It-girl" made of clay called "Graziella" and single mother master crafters who dressed the soldiers from the armory, to brave and fashion-conscious women who wore pants in public for the first time, causing a real scandal.
The self-confident woman in the roaring twenties, “chocolate girls,” and the rebuilding and “a little housekeeping” in the 1970s, which, according to husbands, could be done on the side. Free love in Graz (but only theoretically), female punks (but not drunken), all the way to girl power and feminism today: female DJs and Graz girl bands, fashion icons, artists, and scientists. What does the “woman of the world” do in Graz today, and how will Graz women change the world of tomorrow?
