Foal adventure days

At the Lipizzaner Stud Piber in Western Styria, the Foal Experience offers special insights into the world of young horses. On selected days in spring, including March 21, April 2, April 6, April 25, and May 25, interested parties can witness how the youngest Lipizzaner foals grow up at the stud and the paths they take from day one. Visitors will learn interesting facts about the birth, growth, and development of the foals and get the opportunity to see the offspring of the famous white Baroque horses up close.

The Foal Experience takes place as part of the season at the Lipizzaner Stud Piber and complements the visit to the historic stud, which has been regarded for decades as the birthplace and nursery of the Lipizzaners. In addition to the Foal Experience, other offerings at the stud invite visitors to learn more about the traditional breeding and care of this iconic horse breed. Other experiences include guided stud tours that introduce the entire stud operation and its history, as well as combinable visits to the extensive grounds and stables.

The Foal Experience is particularly suitable for families, horse lovers, and anyone who wants to enjoy an active, nature-oriented excursion in one of the oldest breeding grounds for Lipizzaners. The Piber Stud is a central part of the Lipizzaner tradition in the Graz Region and at the same time a vibrant place where the next generation of the world-famous horses is growing up.
