Opening of the AIMS Festival 2026 in the György Ligeti Hall of the University of Music and Performing Arts

The ceremonial opening of the AIMS Summer 2026 will take place in the György-Ligeti-Saal at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and emphasizes the long-standing connection to KUG. Festive speeches by representatives of the state of Styria, the city of Graz, and the American Embassy, along with large orchestral works, choral music, and regional and national anthems shape the atmospheric concert evening. Following this, a reception in the foyer invites personal exchange in an international atmosphere.
