Information
For over 130 years, the Bauernwirt has been providing for the physical well-being of its guests. With a unique atmosphere, traditional cuisine, and exceptional service quality, the Bauernwirt is one of the landmarks of the Graz district of Straßgang.
While the Bauernwirt has been family-owned since 1838, Karl Zach received the license to operate a restaurant in 1888 - marking the official beginning as a registered establishment.
From the original village tavern, extensive renovations and expansions have created the present inn, which was handed over in 2003 by Josef and Waltraud Moscher to their daughter Natalie Moscher-Tuscher.
Additionally, since 2011, after a significant expansion, the Bauernwirt has also been operated as a hotel with 10 modern double and single rooms. The establishment is also very dog-friendly, and you are welcome to book a room for your four-legged friend.

A free parking space is available for each room.
Please inform us when booking/reserving if you wish to bring your pet (dog). A surcharge of € 8,-/day/pet will be charged.
