From the summit to the wine

Varied hikes lure you into nature, active nature lovers get going. All senses are on reception. From the last foothills of the Eastern Alps with about 1800 meters of altitude to the sun-drenched vineyards, landscape panoramas enchant with colorful play.

From summit, forest, alpine to Buschenschank hiking, Eastern Styria moves. From the Fischbach Alps to the forest home of Peter Rosegger, from the refreshing Joglland to the paradisiacal Apfelland, from the Pöllauer Tal Nature Park to the Almenland Nature Park, nature plays virtuoso.

TIP • From glacier to wine. Long-distance hiking in Styria, of a total of 35 stages of the northern route, seven lead through eastern Styria. 
Along stage 25 you hike from Almenland to Apfelland. In the rhythm of walking, thoughts have a vacation and nature becomes the main thing.

TIP • The Große-Jogl is the mountain bike flagship of the Joglland-Waldheimat region in the north of Eastern Styria.

For pleasure cyclists and e-bikers, it's the East Styrian hill waves that challenge luck. Sometimes a little uphill, but always in a well-tempered rhythm. Culinary pit stops reward with a hearty Brettljause at the Buschenschank or fruity-fresh juices quasi freshly tapped at 24/7 self-service farm stores.
