Along the ski slope, following the path through a short forest section, you reach the Schoberriegel after the forest line. The summit is adorned with a modern yet impressive summit cross. From here you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic of Styria, as well as Carinthia.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Here turn right in the direction of Murau. Drive through Murau to Predlitz. Turn left here and follow the winding route up to the Turracher Höhe.

Coming from Tamsweg, drive until Predlitz. Turn right here and follow the winding raod up to the Turracher Höhe.

Parking spaces are available directly at the Turrachersee.

Vom Turrachersee führt dieser Weg vorbei an der MeiZeit Hütte, der Sonnalm und der Bergstation der Sonnenbahn, mit tollem Panoramablick auf die Turracher Höhe, hinauf auf den Schoberriegel. Zwischen Sonnalm und Schoberriegel ist der Weg teilweise relativ steil - aber es lohnt sich. Denn erst einmal "oben" geht es in 2.200m Seehöhe weiter zum nächsten Gipfel - der Gruft. Kurz vor der Gruft sehen Sie den ehemaligen Flugzeug-Landeplatz aus dem 2. Weltkrieg. Vorbei am Schönebennock (2.002m) geht es zur oberen Vastlhütte am Sam und weiter via Grünsee zum Turrachersee.
