The versatile tour takes you through the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park and the neighboring villages of Scheifling and Teufenbach.

Explore the magnificent scenery of the Murau region on a bike and let yourself be fascinated by the breathtaking mountain and valley panoramas. However, since this is a somewhat longer mountain bike tour, a certain level of fitness and endurance is required!

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Continue straight on until you reach Neumarkt at the main square.

Coming from Tamsweg drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Keep to the right here and drive via Laßnitz and St. Lambrecht to Mariahof. Keep to the right here and drive to Neumarkt.

Parking spaces are available at the main square in Neumarkt.

From Neumarkt in Styria, we head towards Carinthia. After about 3 km, we turn left, then right in Tauchendorf until we reach St. Veit in der Gegend. Via Niederdorf and Pörtschach, we pass the Hörfeld Moor on our way to Mühlen. We drive through the village of Mühlen and along Grabenstraße via See to Greith. At Greith, we turn right at the chapel and reach the cycle path along the main road and continue to Perchau am Sattel. After Perchau am Sattel, we have to drive a short distance on the road. When we reach the cycle path again, we follow it for a while and turn left at the next opportunity. We keep to the right and cycle to St. Lorenzen bei Scheifling. At the church, we turn left and cycle along the Mur to Teufenbach. In Teufenbach, we turn left and right at the Dorfwirt inn. Then we turn left again towards Lessach. We cycle uphill and, before the road descends again after a sharp right-hand bend, we continue uphill on the right on a field road. We keep to the left on the road and then continue straight ahead on a gravel path. We cycle via Heiligenstadt to St. Lambrecht. In St. Lambrecht, we turn left after the monastery walls and cycle uphill to Maria Schönanger. We pass the pilgrimage church and follow the gravel road downhill towards Zeutschach. At the chapel of the Ursprunghof, we turn right and follow the path to Pöllau. After conquering the last climb of our tour, we cycle back to St. Marein and on to Neumarkt in Styria.
