From the “Alte Schmiede” to the Furtner Teich

The starting point is the Alte Schmiede (old smithy) in Diemersdorf. From there, we walk to Hoferdorf, where we turn left and keep to the right at the fork in the road. We cross the main road and turn right into the forest, where we come to the “Galgen” (gallows). We follow the path to the Furtner pond. At the Furtner pond, we turn right and walk around it. When we reach the road again next to the railroad crossing, we turn left and then right at the next intersection. We walk to Baierdorf and turn left onto Vetterl Weg. At the main road, we cross it and turn right onto the sidewalk. After a few meters, the path leads through a short stretch of forest. At the end of this, we turn left and follow the path that leads us through the forest again and to the Hotel Pichlschloss. We follow the road and turn left twice. The path leads us back into the forest and then back to the starting point.
