Petzl Hut at Kreischberg: private holiday cabin with a view
Located on a sunny plateau in St. Georgen ob Murau, the Petzl Hut is in a quiet, secluded location. From here, the view extends over Murau, to Kreischberg, and into the surrounding mountains. Those looking for a private retreat in the Murau region will find plenty of space, nature, and the character of a true self-catering cabin.
The cabin accommodates up to eight people and is particularly suitable for families, groups, and guests who wish to design their vacation independently. Inside, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. Wooden ceilings, wooden floors, larch wood, and the wood stove create a warm, tranquil atmosphere. Practical details such as a washing machine, dryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and infrared heating add to the comfort.
A special part of the stay is the outdoor area. The almost 2,000 m² property features a sun terrace, garden areas, an herb bed and vegetable garden, parking spaces, a well, and a grill area with panoramic views. This leaves plenty of space for relaxed hours outdoors, shared evenings, and enjoying the landscape.
The Petzl Hut combines the freedom of a secluded holiday cabin with amenities that make the stay enjoyable and uncomplicated. Pets are not allowed. In winter, access is cleared, and snow chains or a vehicle with all-wheel drive are recommended as a precaution.
