House Description
Our modern AktivChalet has four bedrooms for 8 people, 2 shower baths, a sauna, a cozy living-dining area with a fireplace, and a dream view of the mountains!
The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances, including a dishwasher and washer-dryer. Each bedroom is furnished with Swiss pine wood beds for restful and healthy sleep.
The chalet is easily accessible by car; however, we recommend carrying snow chains in winter.
The AktivChalet is located right next to the RelaxChalet, making it ideal for larger groups to book both houses.
Surroundings Description
Pure winter fun! Thanks to modern snowmaking systems and an altitude of up to 2,200 m, Lachtal has developed into a popular and snow-sure ski resort for the whole family. Both beginners and experienced ski and snowboard riders can expect a wide range of slopes. And the illuminated toboggan run and ice skating rink make the fun perfect!
For those who prefer a little peace, the groomed winter hiking trails or the cross-country skiing tracks allow you to enjoy the mountains.
Pure nature experience! Even in summer, Lachtal has a lot to offer. Whether hiking or mountain biking, water parks or trips to a mountain lake, high ropes course or motorsport at Spielberg: unique experiences are guaranteed here! And all culture lovers and city wanderers will find a great offer in Klagenfurt or Graz.

Arrival by Plane
The Lachtal is about a one-hour drive from Klagenfurt Airport and about 1.5 hours from Graz Airport.
Arrival by Car
Via Munich, Salzburg, Tauern Autobahn A10 to St. Michael/Lungau, turn off onto B96 towards Tamsweg, Murau, Lachtal.
Via Passau, A9 to Trieben, then B114 towards Hohentauern, Judenburg to the turnoff Oberzeiring, Lachtal.
How to reach the chalets:
At the entrance to the Lachtal ski area, the road forks; keep to the right and follow the signs for "Sissi Park"/"Grosssa Almstadl". Once you reach "Sissi Park", go through both underpasses and continue on the road towards "Grossa Almstadl". Upon arriving in the hut village, take the first street on the left up to house number 540.
We strongly recommend carrying snow chains in winter!
