The station in Stadl an der Mur is a somewhat smaller station and offers boarding and alighting options.

The building has toilets for both genders and offers seating at the front with several wooden benches. The station is otherwise unoccupied.

The special thing about Stadl an der Mur train station, however, is that in the summer months you can watch how the Murtalbahn steam locomotive's water tender is filled at this station. There is no such filling station anywhere else in the Murau region.
