"The happiness of this earth lies on the backs of horses." This is especially true in Schöder, where people have dedicated themselves entirely to horse breeding and equestrian sports.

The traditional "Rossmarkt" (horse market) attracts thousands of visitors every year. The indoor riding arena, a combination of wood, steel and concrete, was built in 1999 as a skeleton structure. A steel structure supporting glulam beams rests on the 60 x 20 meter concrete foundation.
