Whether it's visiting the special exhibition, admiring meter-high crystal giants, creating your own jewelry, or cracking open gemstone spheres, the myth of gemstones will leave a lasting impression. The foundation for the museum was laid in the early 1960s and today it is a unique excursion destination in Austria for young and old.

Paid attractions for children outdoors: Mid-June to mid-September in good weather: gold panning, searching for gemstones, cracking geodes, mineral flea market.
