Oberwölz-Lachtal

Until the beginning of 2015, the historic town of Oberwölz could still be described as the “smallest town in Styria”.

As of January 1, 2015, the municipality of Oberwölz was stripped of this title due to the merger of the municipalities of Oberwölz-Raum, Schönberg-Lachtal and Winklern near Oberwölz, as part of the Styrian municipal structural reform.
