The Trail Center

In the Trail Center Weirerteich - right in the heart of Austria. It's no coincidence that the Weirerteich is located in Laßnitz and all around is Austria. The Trail Center is situated in the border area of the municipalities of Murau (St. Laßnitz) and Sankt Lambrecht. The centerpiece of the trail network is the snow-covered 4km long Weirerteich trail. Here you will also find the main entry point directly at the Setz di nieder Stüberl with plenty of parking and the cross-country ski rental/shop from Sport Maier.

100% Snow Reliability

The Weirerteich trail, awarded the Styrian Trail Quality Seal, has been equipped with a powerful snow-making system since the 2016/2017 winter season. With the help of 3 snow machines, it is possible, under suitable temperatures, to produce machine-made snow for the 4 km long Weirerteich trail within just a few days. Our trails are freshly groomed for you every day, for more fun in your cross-country skiing enjoyment!

Floodlit Fun Every Tuesday & Thursday

From December to early March, our floodlit trail is available to you every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The start of the floodlit trail is at the Setz di nieder Stüberl, from there you can also take your laps on 2km of the Weirerteich trail at night. On these days, the cross-country ski rental/shop from Sport Maier is also open for you until 8:00 PM!

The Fascination of Biathlon

For all enthusiastic skiers, biathlon stations with 3 laser rifles are available at the Weirerteich trail.
