Castle Dürnstein
Neumarkt in der Steiermark
On the border between Styria and Carinthia, the ruins of Dürnstein castle, built in the 11th century by Duke Henry III of Carinthia, are located on a rocky outcrop. Today, revitalized, it serves as a place of encounter. Weddings, festivities or legendary evenings in this ambience are special experiences and allow you to immerse yourself in long past times.
The courtyard can be visited independently at any time free of charge!
After prior registration, the interior rooms of the castle can be visited as part of a guided tour.
