Monument Day at Murau Castle

Take the opportunity and visit Murau Castle on Heritage Day! On September 27, 2026, the last tours of this summer season will take place. At 9.00 a.m., 10.00 a.m., and 11.00 a.m., visitors will once again have the chance to take a look behind the castle gate and learn more about life in the castle as well as the history of Murau Castle.
On Heritage Day, you have the chance to discover historic buildings and objects that are otherwise closed or only partially accessible, with free admission.
The digitalization is in full swing – under the annual motto "Preserving Heritage, Experiencing Digitally," the program highlights the possibilities of digitalization in monument protection and conservation.
