The Murau Organ Week 2026
This year, the Murau Organ Week again welcomes you with a diverse program. The range extends from the Middle Ages to the present, from the portative organ to the modern organ. You can look forward to an organ tour with a meeting to open the week, an organ mass, four concerts, and the opportunity to visit the oldest organ in Murau, all offerings that provide you with exclusive insights into the fascinating organ landscape of the city and the district of Murau. This year, singing will also complement and enrich the organ sound in three concerts, and at the closing concert of the week, the trumpet will join the organ as a partner in the chamber music concert.
Manfred Novak, artistic director of the Murau Organ Week, looks forward to welcoming you to captivating sound experiences in the special atmosphere of historical spaces!
All events are free of charge. Participants are requested to make a suitable donation to cover any outstanding costs of the series.
