Carnival races in the Murau region

It’s that time again! The traditional Carnival race on Shrove Monday, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site in the district of Murau since 2011, will take place again in many communities of the region! The Carnival runners run with noise and dance through the community area, drive away the evil spirits of winter, and usher in spring.
