Get to know the municipality of Ranten and discover wonderful landscapes and picturesque viewpoints. The last climb to the Calvary Chapel leads through the forest. This means you are far away from the main road and can really enjoy the nature of the Murau region!

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive to Murau. At the double roundabout in Murau, keep right and follow the road to Ranten.

Coming from Tamsweg, drive via Stadl an der Mur to Murau. At the double roundabout in Murau, keep left and follow the road to Ranten.

This path leads from the Gasthof Hammerschmied over the Rantenbach. Then stick to the markings and hike towards Kalvarienberg. The way back is on the same route.
