The Bernhard-Fest-Trail is for experienced mountain bikers who would like to cycle through the forests of the Murau region.

Basically, the trail is a hiking trail, which has also been open to mountain bikers since 2023. In this respect, we ask you to take care so that hikers can also reach the Murauer Hütte in safety.

The trail runs from the Murauer Hütte, right through the forest to the village of Schlatting.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau. In Murau turn left towards Schlatting. Follow the mountain road to Gasthof Krische or Murauerhütte.

Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten or Stadl an der Mur, drive straight on to Murau. In Murau keep right towards Schlatting. Follow the mountain road to Gasthof Krische or Murauerhütte.
Public parking spaces are available directly at the Murauer Hütte.

The tour starts directly at the Murauer Hütte and leads along a signposted path through the Murau forest. You ride down the valley over sticks, roots and stones to Schlatting.

Use is permitted from May 1 to September 15 from 09:00 to 19:00 and from September 16 to October 31 from 09:00 to 17:00 at your own risk.
