From the Lasser farmstead, head down across meadows into the sparse forest, where an old sunken path on the left side of the ravine leads up to a wide, flat saddle. Continue left around the ridge, ascending gently, east of the Steinkar ravine through sparse forest to the Steinkaralm (1,622 m). Continue in the same direction up to the next cirque floor until it is possible to bypass the lowest steep section of the summit structure to the left. Continue along a trough-like gully on the summit slope, which becomes increasingly wider and flatter, to the summit.
