Directions
The hike begins at the village square in Tauplitz. From there you walk along the road in an easterly direction. Cross the bypass road and then continue straight ahead on the road in the direction of Gnanitzalm. After about two kilometers, turn left into the "Freiberg Weg" and return to the starting point.

If you prefer, you can also continue to follow the road in the direction of the Gnanitzalm and after about 20 minutes walk you will come to the waterfall on the right (only accessible when there is little snow) and to the Sagtümpel on the left.

It is best to plan your journey to Tauplitz with google.at/maps.

Die Wanderung beginnt am Dorfplatz in Tauplitz. Von dort wandert man die Straße Richtung Osten. Die Umfahrungstraße queren und dann gerade aus weiter wandern auf der Straße Richtung Gnanitzalm. Nach etwa zwei Kilometer biegt man nach links in den "Freiberg Weg" und kommt wieder retour zum Ausgangspunkt.

Wer möchte, kann auch weiter der Straße Richtung Gnanitzalm folgen und kommt dann nach etwa 20 Gehminuten rechts zum Wasserfall (nur bei geringer Schneelage begehbar) und links zum Sagtümpel.

There are plenty of free parking spaces at the entrance to Tauplitz.

From the parking lot turn left and hike up towards the church. A little above you will find the starting point of the hike.
