Our huts, houses, rooms and cabins on the Pogusch at 1100 meters above sea level have been lovingly built with high-quality materials from local businesses and are within walking distance of the Steirereck tavern. In addition to sleeping in stables, in bird and tree houses and huts, you will also find cabins.

A garden and 10 beds under glass - a story of its own The cooperation and friendship with the best farmers and gardeners in our country has often taken us to special places. It was always the beauty and diversity of nature, the scent of the most diverse plants and the colors of the seasons that gave us magical moments. Their favorite places were often in their greenhouses, where they ate, drank & celebrated together. These special moments were the inspiration for our glass house, on the one hand to make a unique variety of plants available for our kitchen and on the other hand to enable our guests to experience this world. All the plants in it have been collected over the past few years. Many are the "children" of our most important farmers & gardeners. Some with a noble and long pedigree. Lovingly brought into life and raised by them. Old enough, they have found their place in our glass house. Our glass house is a "cold glass house" which means that the temperature changes with the season; always in the interests of plant health. And it is part of our almost self-sufficient circular economy and energy concept. The glass house with 10 cabins is a completely different concept of sleeping. Reduced to the essentials, completely informal, decelerated and still with the highest possible comfort. The cabins are cozy, heated caves and are spread out in the glass house; each cabin is paneled in a different, local type of wood and equipped with a comfortable bed for up to 2 people. Each cabin has its own changing room on the ground floor; lockable and equipped with everything you need for your stay. In the spacious washing areas you can pursue your body cult and in the Ahorn sauna on the 1st floor we heat you up from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fresh and dried herbs from our own cultivation are available for your enjoyment at the tea bar. The fireplace room on the 2nd floor invites you to unwind and the cozy couch area invites you to read, chat and relax. When entering the glass house, the first way leads to the cloakroom. We ask you to move around in the glass house with the provided slippers, sheep's wool socks or simply barefoot. Our glass house not only symbolizes a wonderful, edible variety of plants, but also a space that you share with others. Respect and courtesy towards the other glass house residents is paramount; whether of human or plant origin.

Culinary delights are of course not neglected. Both in our tavern and in our bar kitchen (where delicacies are prepared over an open fire and over steam), the products of our agriculture and our region are presented in the best culinary light. A table is of course also noted with your room reservation and please contact our staff at check-in for your desired time and place. In the future, our cabin guests will have the opportunity to work in our farm or kitchen during the day. Hardworking & talented people in particular can look forward to a reduction on the cabin price of up to 50%. We will provide detailed information about times and exact dates from spring/summer 2022 (depending on the pandemic).
