Scheibenhütte
Mürzzuschlag
The Scheibenhütte is one of the three oldest ski huts in Europe. It was built on the initiative of the skiing pioneer Toni Schruf and opened on December 26, 1897. Despite several necessary renovations, the charm of the hut has been preserved to this day.
On weekends and public holidays, you can enjoy a drink as well as soup or sausages along with your packed snack. The Scheibe is the local mountain of Mürzzuschlag, and at the summit cross, you have a breathtaking view of the Mürztal valley and a panoramic view of the Schneealpe, Rax, and Schneeberg.
