Cavern of Hohlenstein

On the eastern slope of Bürgeralpe, at an elevation of 1,031 m above sea level, is the show cave that was first mentioned in 1832.

Guided tours during the summer months of July & August: Saturdays at 11 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.

• Meeting point: HVHM club hut on the forest road above the cave, at the junction Bürgeralpe/Rechengraben/Schertlerkreuz.
• Duration of the tour: approximately 75 minutes. Current prices and information can be found on the homepage www.hoehlensteinhoehle.at
• Tours from June to September for groups of at least 5 people upon request.
• Helmets with headlamps are provided.
• As the cave temperature is consistently between 6 and 8° Celsius, appropriate clothing is required. Dogs are not allowed.
