The 3-star guesthouse of the Rothwangl family is an ideal place for relaxation. Nestled in Peter Rosegger's forest homeland, you are perfectly situated to enjoy a wonderful vacation. Peter Rosegger himself appreciated and loved his homeland - the stunning landscape with hiking trails and mountain biking routes makes the region a true insider tip.

The guesthouse features 19 rooms with 45 cozy beds - single rooms, double rooms, and family rooms are available. Culinary-wise, you will be spoiled by Hannes, the host, with delightful dishes. You will find regional as well as international delicacies on the menu. Allow yourself to be tempted by hearty dishes. Depending on the season, tasty meals ranging from asparagus to mushrooms to game are served. The house is generously designed - the dining room, guest rooms, Rosegger Stube, and the hall on the first floor offer plenty of space. Another highlight is the cellar Stube with a wine cellar, where you can taste selected wines during a wonderful tasting experience.

In regular operation, we have the restaurant open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM. Our restaurant is closed on Sunday, Monday, and on public holidays. Regarding hotel operations, we kindly ask you to check in on the day of arrival from 2 PM to 7 PM. Check-out please from 8 AM to 10 AM.
